1) How many people can fit on a Duffy?
22ft hold 10 bodies (Max) and the 18ft holds 8 bodies (Max)
2) Do I have to know how to drive a boat already?
No, we give you a short class and if needed a 10 day Temporary License

3) Are children allowed on board?
Yes, as long as there Guardian is on board and over 21 years old
4) Can I bring Alcohol?
Yes, however, the people who are responsible for driving during your rental CANNOT consume any alcohol at any time.
5) Are Dogs allowed?
No, wet dog hair is very difficult to get out
6) What time can I go out til?
You can drive the boat yourself all the way up to sunset (around 7 to 7.30)
You can go out anytime even 2 am but you will need a Captain which is $40 /HR
7)Is there Safety Equipment on Board?
Yes, there are lifejackets for every passenger big and small. If you need a life Jacket for and Infant (1 to 12 months) please notify 24 hours prior to rental
There will also be: Flares, First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, and much more!
8) Who Can drive the boat?
Must be 21 with a valid driver’s license and credit card
9) How far can we go?
The boats are 100% electric and travel at a top speed of 7 mphs. The length of the reservation is the main variable to how far you can go.
10) What should we expect?
We will begin with a 30 to 45 minute class on operating a boat safely in each of the locations. Once the class has been completed your rental time will begin. You can rent anywhere from 1 to 5 hours per day.
We will give you a radio and Map of the location you will be touring and some charters will even receive a GPS unit (National Harbor Only)
